Aloe Vera Juice-

Aloe barbadensis, makes hair more manageable, smoother, silkier, and healthier. Aloe conditions, moisturizes and creates a smooth shine.

 

Almond Oil-

Almond oil is rich in vitamins, including B vitamins (B1 and B6) that are known to promote hair growth. It also contains vitamin E which is an antioxidant and is also known to impact hair growth by repairing hair follicles and keeping them healthy and free of inflammation.

 

Amla-

It is high in vitamin C and natural antioxidants known as flavonoids and polyphenols. When used for hair treatments, amla oil is thought to strengthen and condition follicles down to the roots. Ayurvedic practitioners also believe that amla oil can promote hair growth, reduce dandruff, and prevent the graying of hair.

 

Aritha-

Also known as Soapnuts, is an excellent hair tonic, long known for its benefits for healthy hair and scalp. Used for centuries as an anti hair loss shampoo, the natural antifungal, and antibacterial properties may help with dandruff. The natural saponins not only cleanse hair, they add body and sheen and make hair feel thicker, silky and smooth.

 


Avocado Oil-

Avocado Oil is very high in monounsaturated fatty acids, which nourish, moisturize, and strengthen hair strands, protecting them from further damage. It also contains phytosterols and antioxidants, which further prevent damage as well as encourage hair growth.

 

Basil-

Stimulates hair follicles, increases scalp circulation and promotes hair growth. The magnesium in basil helps protect hair from breakage, and its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe the roots. Basil adds luster to dull hair.

Behentrimonium Methosulfate-

Behentrimonium Methosulfate or BMS is a very mild yet effective ingredient known for its de-tangling and hair thickening properties. Because behentrimonium methosulfate directly deposits onto the hair follicle to smooth out the cuticles, it’s highly regarded for its conditioning abilities. It also acts as an emulsifying agent, gentle enough to be used in baby products that are left on the skin.

 

Bentonite Clay-

Antimicrobial and helps with irritated or flaking scalps, in addition to psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. Bentonite clay contains a mixture of natural minerals that are beneficial for your hair and can encourage hair growth. It moisturizes, conditions, softens, and reduces frizz.

Bhringraj-

An ancient Ayurvedic herbal remedy for hair loss, premature graying and skin allergies, which helps rejuvenate skin and hair. Considered the "king of herbs" for hair growth, it adds deep moisture and acts like a multivitamin for hair to help strengthen the hair shaft, provide natural shine and may also help with dandruff.

Biotin-

Biotin improves hair growth and helps with inflammation.

 

Black Castor Seed Oil-

Derived from the castor plant and contains small amounts of ash from the roasting process the castor seeds go through in production (this roasting process distinguishes Jamaican black castor oil from standard pure castor oil). JBCO contains ricinoleic acid, which increases blood circulation to the scalp, promotes hair growth, attacks inflammation and scalp infections. JBCO also contains antioxidants that support the keratin in your hair, making it stronger, smoother, more structured, and less frizzy.

 

Black Tea-

As a hair rinse is good for premature grayness and darkening hair. It also helps decrease shedding.

 

Black Seed-

Since it is anti-inflammatory, black seed oil is great when diluted with a carrier oil to soothe scalp conditions that cause inflammation, flakiness, and sensitivity. It also kills viruses and fungal infections, so those with lice can benefit. Like lavender, citrus, and rosemary essential oils, black seed oil is an adjuvant, meaning it works well with other ingredients to provide therapeutic effects.

 

Brahmi powder-

Brahmi a healing ayurvedic healthy hair herb is used for:

  • strengthening the roots of your hair 
  • makes the hair denser, long, shiny and dark toned
  • controls dandruff
  • reduces premature greying
  • reduces the amount of hair loss
  • perfect herb to add to the natural hair regimen of someone who has chronic hair problems
  • treats eczema and psoriasis

Calendula-

Soothing to sensitive scalps, is rich in plant minerals that protect the hair from free radicals, and the scalp from bacterial growth.

 

Cetearyl Alcohol-

A naturally-derived ingredient that softens and conditions the hair. It also improves the texture of the product and makes it easier to apply throughout your hair! Cetearyl is one of the “good alcohols” found in hair products. Unlike isopropyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, or SD alcohol, cetearyl alcohol is safe, non-toxic, and does not have any skin-irritating or drying effects.

 

Chamomile-

Used to soothe the scalp and condition hair. Chamomile strengthens scalp tissues and promotes healthy hair growth by correcting issues with scalp inflammation.

 

Chili Oil-

The active ingredient in chili peppers or chili oil is capsaicin, which has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can also increase blood flow, which is key to having a healthy scalp and hair.

 

Clary Sage-

Known to stimulate the growth of healthier, stronger strands while eliminating dandruff and preventing the production of excessive natural oils and sebum on the scalp.

 

Clove-

Used to prevent hair loss, maintaini the hair’s luster, and hair conditioning. Cloves are perfect for the scalp because of its antifungal, antiseptic, and anesthetic properties, which will treat dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, and other scalp ailments. The antioxidants of clove oil help to increase circulation in the scalp and in turn work to stimulate new healthy hair growth.

 

Cocomidopropyl Betaine-

Cocamidopropyl betaine is a wonderful surfactant and creates a thick lather. Surfactants are products that have both lipophilic (oil loving) - and hydrophilic (water loving) properties. These dual properties is what enables them to remove dirt and oil from the hair when used in a shampoo. Cocamidopropyl betaine typically doesn't cause much in the way of irritation which makes it a good choice. For this reason it’s a common ingredient in many liquid skin cleansers. When used in conditioners, it helps function as an anti-static agent.

 

Coconut Oil-

Coconut oil has a high moisture retaining capacity. It keeps hair moist and soft, preventing hair breakage. The various fatty acids present in coconut oil serve as very good anti-dandruff agents.

 

Dandelion-

A root rich in iron, helps treat dandruff and dry hair issues. Dandelion leaves are loaded with minerals and vitamins, especially vitamin A, that help balance sebum.

 

Decyl Glucoside-

This naturally-derived ingredient is a mild, gentle cleaning agent. It produces moderate amount of stable foam in cleansing products. It is bio-degradeable, non-irritating, non-allergenic, and does not dry out the skin or hair.

 

dl-Panthenol-

Panthenol is a humectant that attracts water from the atmosphere, moisturizing hair and preventing dehydration. It forms a smooth film over the hair shaft, sealing holes in the surface and giving it a shiny appearance. It provides slip, helps with detangling, and is soluble in both water and alcohol, preventing product buildup on your hair. It can also reduce inflammation and itching on the scalp!

 

Emulsifying Wax NF-

Emulsifying Wax is the most widely used emulsifier in the cosmetic industry due to its ability to perfectly blend creams and lotions that contain oil and water. Emulsifying wax helps to improve the consistency and texture of the final product without leaving a greasy film on the outer skin or hair after use. It can also be used to make viscous (thick) or thin emulsions, depending on the concentration at which it is used.

 

Ethylhexylglycerin-

A safe and effective alternative to parabens, ethylhexylgylcerin inhibits the growth and multiplication of odour-causing bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi, and works to improve the efficacy of other preservatives. It also acts as an antimicrobial stabilizer in combination with other ingredients. Being a vegan friendly product, the ethylhexylgylcerin used in Naptural Queen Hair Care's products comes solely from vegetable oil glycerin.

 

Fenugreek-

Provides natural proteins for the nourishment and health of hair, stimulates blood flow to the root of the hair, and was used to combat hair loss. Used as a treatment for dandruff, thinning hair, and damaged hair, it is said to preserve hair's natural color and keep hair silky.

Garlic Seed-

Has anti-microbial properties that help kill germs and bacteria, which are responsible for causing damage to the scalp, further inhibiting hair growth.Raw garlic is known to be rich in vitamin C content that is great for promoting hair-health. It also boosts collagen production that helps stimulate hair growth.The presence of selenium content in garlic helps boost blood circulation for maximum nourishment. It also helps cleanse hair follicles, strengthens them and prevents clogging, further curbing hair loss. Garlic helps calm aggravated scalp and treats issues like dandruff.

 

Ginger Root-

Helps increase scalp circulation which stimulates hair follicles and encourages growth. The fatty acids composition of ginger root is great for thinning hair. Ginger also has antiseptic properties that work to help with dandruff.

Gingko Biloba-

Slows hair loss by being rich in L-cysteine, a critical amino acid found in healthy hair. Ginkgo biloba’s effects on hair health are believed to be caused by increased blood flow as well. When blood circulation is improved, your hair follicles can receive more essential nutrients. This helps the follicles stay active while simultaneously preventing hair thinning.

 

Ginseng-

Reduce hair fall and promote hair growth.

 

Glycerin- highly effective moisturizer and humectant for skin and hair. Its thick viscosity and high boiling point are what make it an effective curl-definer and frizz minimizer (in the right climate).

Gotu Kola-

Gotu kola can be used several ways for hair such as a tea, a powder, and even an oil. With such potent components we should not be surprised this herb is used for hair loss. Sometimes hair loss is a result of malnourished cells or hair follicles, and gotu kola plays a hefty role in strengthening the hair follicles due to nourishment of the scalp through the strengthening of the blood vessels. This also helps in getting proper blood circulation to the scalp to feed and nourish those starving hair follicles. Oxygen and other nutrients can find their way to the scalp and hair follicles. This helps in not only preventing hair loss but encouraging hair regrowth.

 

Grape Seed Oil-

Grape seed oil is ideal for moisturizing and conditioning dry hair because it is lighter than olive oil or coconut oil and won't leave your hair feeling greasy. It is also odorless, so it won't leave a lingering scent. Grape seed oil helps to lock in moisture and prevent frizz, split ends, and brittle hair.

 

Hemp Seed Oil-

Hemp oil contains proteins, fatty acids, and nutrients. All of these ingredients result in healthy, resilient, and robust hair. Your scalp will also be healthier and less prone to irritation and itchiness. Hemp oil is exceptionally moisturizing by absorbing water that lingers on your scalp and hair follicles so you'll have long-term hydration.

 

Hibiscus-

Used to lessen gray hair and promote hair growth. The flowers and leaves contain mucilage and plant proteins that help in the treatment of dandruff and hair loss. Hibiscus infusions are great as a final herbal rinse, add warm red hues, provide excellent slip and help detangle naturally curly hair.

Honey-

Honey is a natural humectant that contains proteins, minerals, and vitamins that work in strengthening the hair follicles by drawing in moisture from the air and sealing it in your hair and skin. This helps to keep your hair conditioned, which will help reduce breakage, allowing it to stay strong and healthy and grow longer. Honey also has rich antioxidant and antibacterial properties that prevent damage and help prevent scalp infections and soothe issues like dandruff, eczema, etc., ultimately keeping your scalp and hair healthy.


 

Horsetail-

Nourishing and hydrating, stimulates blood vessels in the scalp and has been used for centuries as a hair growth herb. The silica in horsetail helps to keep hair strong and adds shine and luster to hair.

Kosher Vegetable Glycerin-

Glycerin is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils that has strong humectant properties. Because glycerin attracts moisture, it is well known for its ability to smooth and soften hair. It pulls moisture into the hair cuticles and locks it in, preventing hair from becoming frizzy, dry or breaking off.

 

Lavender Essential Oil-

Sas anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti fungal and antiseptic properties that help with hair loss, shedding and inflammatory scalp conditions. Its ability to balance oil production makes it a great hair care herb for all hair types.

Lemongrass-

Has astringent and tonic properties that make it useful in the treatment of scalp inflammations. Lemongrass balances skin oil by helping to normalize oil production and is useful for both oily and dry hair.

Mango Butter-

Mango butter is packed with Vitamin A and E, which helps repair your hair. Since its non-comedogenic, it will not clog your hair follicles or pores. It has long lasting moisture that is extremely beneficial for dry hair.

 

Murumuru Butter-

Light and slightly nutty, muru muru butter is rich in omegas that help soften, promote elasticity, shine, and aid in moisture retention of hair. Because it is so thick in nature, Murumuru butter can help control frizz and define curls.

 

Mustard Seed-

Mustard seed oil is loaded with vitamins and minerals such as zinc, selenium, and beta carotene. Beta carotene converts to vitamin A, which is excellent in stimulating hair growth. The oil also has a lot of fatty acides, iron, calcium, and some magnesium. Thus, it conditions and helps encourage hair growth in all hair types.

 

Neem-

With its ability to fight bacteria, fungus, irritation and itching, neem oil is a great remedy for many scalp conditions. Plus, it can also sort hair loss and promote growth.

 

Olive Oil-

Olive oil is rich in high levels of monounsaturated fatty acids and Vitamin E, an antioxidant important for hair growth. Olive oil is one of the top emollients that can penetrate the hair, and its lightweight nature makes it great for moisturizing. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties that promote scalp health and prevent dandruff.

 

Onion Seed-

Onion seeds help keep hair healthy and shiny. It contains anti-fungal properties that prevent fungal infections and scalp diseases that lead to hair loss. Onion seeds are rich in essential oils that nourish the hair and improve its growth.

 

Peppermint Essential Oil-

Clarifies, cleans and invigorates hair without stripping it of its natural oils while balancing your scalp's sebum production.

 

Phenoxyethanol-

Used as a preservative. It is highly effective in preventing the growth of fungi, bacteria, and yeast that could cause products to spoil, just like food. The use of preservatives enhances products’ shelf life and safety.

 

Polyquart-10-

A moisturizer and anti-static agent. It absorbs easily into the hair, provides sheen, and enhances look and feel of hair. It is a safe, non-irritating, and water-soluble! (Does not cause buildup.)

 

Polysorbate 20-

This is a commonly used emulsifier of essential oils and oil based fragrances and it is naturally derived from Lauric Acid (coconut oil).

 

Pumpkin Seed Oil-

Regular massage with pumpkin seed oil can assist with hair growth through nourishing the follicles. Pumpkin seed oil is an emollient oil, smoothening frizz and promoting shiny hair. If your hair lacks luster, pumpkin seed oil will help rectify this issue. Pumpkin seed oil has a high vitamin E content. Vitamin E softens the hair and helps promote elasticity and manageability.

 

Pygeum-

Used to treat pattern hair loss in men and women; DHT blocker.

 

Ricebran Oil-

High in omega 3,6, and 9 fatty acids which moisturize and nourish your hair. It can also help prevent the formation of dandruff and reduce split ends.

 

Rosemary Essential Oil-

Encourages hair growth by improving blood flow to the scalp, encourages strong, healthy hair, stimulates growth, increases manageability and adds shine. The stimulating and revitalizing properties of rosemary help condition both hair and scalp

 

Sage-

Rich in antioxidant, astringent, and antibacterial qualities, is a soothing hair tonic and a natural treatment for scalp dryness. Sage tea adds shine and depth to dark hair and helps darken graying hair. Sage will remove residual shampoo and conditioner that has built up on your hair to leave it shiny and soft.

Saw Palmetto-

Often used to balance hormone levels and combat hair loss. Saw palmetto may ward off hair loss and increase hair density by decreasing levels of DHT which is related to hair loss.

 

Sesame Oil-

Sesame oil is highly nourishing, healing and lubricating. Sesame oil is popularly used for hair growth and to maintain scalp health. It is enriched with Vitamin E, B complex, and minerals such as magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and protein that strengthens the hair from the roots and deeply nourishes. Sesame oil improves the circulation of blood in the scalp, and it thereby promotes hair growth. It is also highly penetrative which helps heal chemical damage, and supplies nourishment to your hair shafts and follicles.

 

Shea Butter-

Shea Butter is a natural conditioner for hair as it absorbs easily into the scalp and it does not clog the pores. It provides moisture from the roots to the ends of your hair making it great to use as a deep conditioner or a leave in conditioner.

 

Shikakai powder-

Shikakai a is a small shrub-like tree which grows in India. It's pod-like fruit is collected, dried and then ground into a fine powder. Our shikakai powder is organically certified.

Shikakai powder is used to:

  • to cleanse hair
  • for promoting hair growth
  • preventing dandruff
  • strengthening the hair from its roots

Due to these benefits, this powder was named shikakai which means "fruit for the hair".

Slippery Elm Extract- great as a water-based leave-in conditioner, moisturizing hair cream, and a detangling spray. With the procyanidins, slippery elm improves the strength of hair and makes it tensile. The inner bark is great for treating dry, dull, and damaged strands. It is used for removing dandruff, making hair smoother, and adding volume.

Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate-

Sodium lauroyl lactylate is an emulsifier that is classified as natural and food grade [1]. They help ingredients that naturally don’t mix, combine easier. For instance, water and oil do not combine well together. Water usually settles at a container’s bottom since it is heavy, while oil will stay afloat due to its lightness. But, when an emulsifier is added, the two will mix.

 

Soybean Oil (Non GMO)-

Soybean oil’s main asset to hair is moisture retention. This carrier oil is full of good fatty acids, manganese, and vitamins. As if that is not good enough, the lipids in the oil helps hair treatments to absorb better into your hair. A non-greasy carrier oil that will improve moisture retention and shine. There is a high vitamin E content in soybean oil so it will fight off free radicals while also being a helpful antioxidant for the scalp.

 

Stearic Acid-

This odorless, colorless, wax-like fatty acid is commonly found in vegetables and animal fats. Stearic acid is produced from carbohydrates and is ideal as an emulsifying agent and great for hair products to coat, condition, and protect the hair shaft without dulling or weighing it down. Stearic acid was used by the ancient Egyptians as gels to hold the hair of the Egyptians in elaborate styles.

 

Stinging Nettle-

Stimulates the scalp, improves circulation, and helps promote fuller, more radiant hair. Nettles have a long-standing reputation for preventing hair loss and making the hair soft and shiny. Nettle, an excellent hair conditioner, is rich in minerals and plant hormones, is tonic and astringent and gives a healthy gloss to hair. Nettle is said to be a remedy for oily hair, dandruff, and hair shaft breakage.

Sunflower Oil-

Sunflower seed oil is able to keep your scalp very hydrated by trapping in the moisture. It helps prevent aging and protects the hair against the sun's harsh UV lights by preserving and guarding the collagen.

 

Sweet Almond Oil-

Sweet almond oil is rich in vitamins, including B vitamins (B1 and B6) that are known to promote hair growth. It also contains vitamin E which is an antioxidant and is also known to impact hair growth by repairing hair follicles and keeping them healthy and free of inflammation.

 

Thyme-

Has antiseptic and antifungal properties that cleanse, heal and soothe the scalp. Thyme is often used in deep cleansing shampoos, helps ease dandruff and stimulates hair follicles to help with hair loss.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)- a form of vitamin E and is a natural skin conditioning agent, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory derived from plants. It helps to fight free radicals, reduces lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress to the scalp, and protects the skin and hair from damage due to sun exposure. Additionally, it increases circulation to the scalp, enhancing the health, strength, and growth of hair naturally.

Tulsi-

Also known as Holy Basil,is helpful in conditioning the scalp by improving blood circulation thereby helping cells receive the nutrients and oxygen. It is also useful for dandruff and general hair care.

Water-

Water is moisture. Without it, your hair has no hope of staying moisturized.

 

Wheat Germ Oil- highly loaded with essential nutrients such as lipids, proteins, sugars, fiber and minerals. Wheat germ oil is rich in linoleic acid that nourishes and conditions the hair. It possesses moisturizing and conditioning properties which is useful in repairing the damaged hair and prevents hair loss. Wheat germ oil provides strength to your hair, and even prevents hair loss and dandruff.

 

Zinc Oxide-

Used to treat psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions, as well as diminishing dandruff. Dandruff occurs when a common fungus that lives on the scalp grows out of control. The resulting irritation and inflammation causes skin cells to flake off and the scalp to become irritated and itchy. Zinc not only helps control the growing bacteria, but also reduces the amount of oil that it feeds on, while its anti-inflammatory properties calm irritation and relieve itchiness. Even if you don’t technically have dandruff, this form of zinc will still relieve a dry, itchy scalp.
